Francesco Girotti

Francesco Girotti graduated in International Politics at the UNIBO (2000) and was awarded by a Master in European Studies in Forlì (2014) with a thesis on European Higher Education Policies.

He has been working in the management of European Programs of Education and Training for 14 years and he now coordinates the EU Programs Unit within the International Relations Office at UNIBO.

His main expertise is the management of HE international projects focusing on student mobility, Joint Degree development and structural and policy measures.

In the last years he has been working on the promotion and implementation of HE European Programs within UNIBO, with a particular focus on Erasmus Mundus Programmes.

He has been the project coordinator of the JOIMAN Network on Joint Degree Management and local coordinator of JOI.Con project and EM-IDEA project.

He is the Vice president of the Utrecht Network.

He is external expert for NUFFIC (JDAZ project), for the European Commission, EACEA and the Italian E+ National Agency (EMQA project, Lifelong Learning and Erasmus+).
